Our Story
Dostie Homes has been part of Northeast Florida since 1958, when J. Rene Dostie moved his family from Canada to Jacksonville and began building homes. His son, Richard R. Dostie, took over the business in 1974. In 2010, Richard passed the company to his sons, Rick and Chris, who continue to lead the family business today.
Over three generations, Dostie has grown alongside Northeast Florida. Communities have changed, lifestyles have evolved, and expectations for a new home have shifted, but the company has remained locally owned and focused on the region it has called home for more than 68 years.
